In collaboration with the New York State Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the St. Joseph’s College Small Business Outreach Center will conduct a workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the campus in Clinton Hill.
Titled “Five Ways To Crank Up Your Website Traffic,” the workshop will focus on the current economic crisis and the ways small businesses are more vulnerable to declining consumer purchasing power and are less able to make strategic shifts in their marketing.
Entrepreneurs will learn how to maximize the effectiveness of their web sites to attract more buying customers, outlining five ways the Internet can help generate more revenue.
The SBDC, the premier business assistance organization in the state, provides expert management and technical assistance to start-up and existing businesses. Administered by the State University of New York and funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of New York and host campuses, it has 23 campus-based regional centers and 29 outreach offices. It applies the resources of university, private sector and government to solve business problems and foster entrepreneurship.
The free workshop, that is open to the public, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the McEntegart Hall Library, 222 Clinton Ave., in the 2nd floor meeting area.
